In a simple ceremony presided over by Rev. Fr. Joseph Kandachamkunnel, the Regional Superior and assisted by Fr. Praveen Jose, the Novice Master, the Nigeria-Ghana region joyfully received five brothers into the year of postulancy and six brothers into the canonical year of novitiate.
The Regional Superior exhorted the candidates to be committed to their Pauline vocation and to practice the evangelical counsels, by avoiding the occasions of sins. Similarly, on 7 September 2024, in the chapel at Ibadan, Bro Onuoha Sixtus was raised to the order of Lector. He was urged by the Regional Superior to be upright and to embrace with joy the responsibility of proclaiming the word of God by first living it in his life.
The following day, the 8 of September, Bro Patrick Polycarp Nbeniabari, made his first religious profession during the Mass in the chapel at Ibadan. Ten of the junior brothers also renewed their vows that day. The Regional Superior encouraged Bro Patrick Polycarp and the juniors who had renewed their vows to remain faithful to the vows. He further urged the seniors and the faithful to help the brothers live out their religious lives by creating an enabling environment and supporting them wherever possible.
